Elevator vending machines are great for serving cold sandwiches and cold beverages, but after years of common use the machine may need some adjustment. Here are five common troubleshooting fixes we see with elevator vending machines.
According to one of Vendnet’s senior technicians an important and commonly overlooked maintenance step for your vending machine is cleaning the machine’s refrigeration unit. Proper service to your machine will help keep it running like new year-after-year.
Here are some simple steps to make sure your machine’s refrigeration unit is running at optimal performance in order to keep your products fresh:
Replace the air intake filter
Brush off the screen intake underneath the machine
Wipe off the condenser fan in the back of the machine
Make sure the back fan is not right up against the wall. It is recommended that there is at least four inches clearance between the wall and the back of the machine for proper air flow.
For more information on servicing your refrigeration unit including how to completely replace your refrigeration unit within your machine, check out this short video.
We also recommend cleaning off other dust or dirt your machine may have on the panel or glass window. Machine presentation can help products appeal to the consumer.
